Welcome to the Turtletop Software community! We are here to talk games, hobbies, and strategy. To keep this place readable and safe, all users must follow the Code of Green.

🟢 1. The Golden Rule: Be Constructive

We are all pro-gamers and devs here.

  • Do: Critique the game mechanics, report bugs, and disagree with ideas.

  • Don't: Attack the person. "This level design is frustrating because..." is helpful. "The dev is an idiot" isn't.

🟢 2. Zero Tolerance (The Ban Hammer)

We use a "Shoot First, Ask Questions Later" policy for the following. Posting these results in an immediate, permanent ban:

  • Illegal Content: Piracy, warez, leaked source code, or real-world threats.

  • NSFW/Gore: Keep it rated G and Safe-for-Work. We are a software studio, not a shock site.

  • Malware: Posting links to .exe files or suspicious downloads.

🟢 3. Support & Bug Reports

Help us fix things faster.

  • Search First: Check if your bug has already been reported.

  • Format Your Report: Don't just say "It broke." Tell us What you did, What happened, and What you expected to happen.

  • No Backseat Dev: I love suggestions, but please respect that I have a roadmap that comes first. If you give a detailed explanation as to why a feature should be added, I just might do so. But don't act entitled; this isn't Reddit.

🟢 4. Self-Promotion

  • You may share your own projects only if you are a trusted member and have explicit permission to do so.

  • Joining just to drop a link to your YouTube channel or crypto scam will trigger our spam bots.

🟢 5. The "Sandbox" Protocol (Why your post isn't showing)

To protect the community, new accounts are restricted.

  • Your first 3 posts must be manually approved by a moderator.

  • You cannot post links or upload images until you are a Verified Member.

  • Please be patient. Do not repost the same message 5 times.
